Medium-dry, medium bodied Marechal Foch and Castel based red wine blend
Winemaker's Notes:
This wine was fermented in stainless steel to maintain the fresh, fruit forward, character of the grapes. The wine was co-inoculated with alcoholic and malo-lactic fermentation taking place simultaneously to soften the wine without it becoming too rich and buttery. The wine was then bottled with some residual sweetness enhancing the dark fruit notes as well as improving the overall mouthfeel of the wine.
