Dry, medium bodied and earthy. This barrel-aged blend of red wine made from 100% Nova Scotia grown grapes has structure and tannic grip. An age worthy red that can cellar for 7-10 years with ease.
Winemaker's Notes:
This wine was made by adding the pressed-out skins and stems of ripe Pinot Noir to active ferments of Leon Millot and Marquette. The Pinot Noir adding significant tannin as well as complex dark fruit and forest floor notes to the bright cherry and cranberry notes from the Leon Millot and Marquette. The wine was then aged in tank for almost two years with a subtle influence from French and American oak.
